Maurice James Noble

Maurice James Noble (1910 - 2001) was active/lived in California, Minnesota.  Maurice Noble is known for Animation, design, watercolor painting, serigraphs.

Born in Spooner, MN on May 1, 1910.  Noble settled in Redlands, CA in 1919.  He studied briefly at the Chouinard Art School and then went to work at Disney Studios in 1935.  Following service in WWII, he worked for Warner Bros, MGM, and other movie studios.  He then had his own movie animation company for many years.  Upon retirement in 1972, he devoted his time to painting watercolors and creating serigraphs.  He died at his home in La Crescenta, CA on May 18, 2001.
